Since 2011, the Muay Thai Sangha Fighting Arts School has held a number of intensive courses each year, to pass on the curriculum to those students wanting to learn a truly effective Thai martial arts system. The intensive course curriculum, when fully completed, will allow students to become certified International teachers recognized by the Muay Thai Sangha School.
The entire Muay Thai Sangha Fighting Arts curriculum covers both armed and unarmed combat situations, from stand-up to ground fighting techniques, for both competition and self-defense purposes.
During the courses, the students are encouraged to face and overcome their physical and mental limitations, and must complete different trials according to their abilities.
The Courses are held at the Muay Thai Sangha Fighting Arts School, located in the heart of Northern Thailand, only 40 minutes North of Chiang Mai, in the village of Mae Taeng – a small town surrounded by mountains, next to the Sri Lanna national park.
The Intensive Courses are each taught just once a year. Early booking is necessary to reserve your space, as we receive a maximum of ten students per course.
- The next Beginners Level 1 Intensive Course will begin in September 2019.
- The next Beginners Level 2 Intensive Course will begin in October 2019.
- The next Intermediate Level 1 Intensive Course will begin in November 2019.
- The next Intermediate Level 2 Intensive Course will begin in December 2019.
- The next Advanced Level 1 and 2 Intensive Courses (No dates available yet).
The duration of any of the Intensive Courses is one full month. Training covers 6 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday-Friday), and 3 hours on Saturday. The intensive course is split into morning and evening training sessions, with a 3 hour break in between.

Food and Accommodation are excluded. The maximum number of students per course is limited to ten people. A 50% deposit via an early booking is necessary to reserve your space.

All participants passing through any of the Intensive courses, will receive a Muay Thai Sangha Fighting Arts Certificate, which will grant them certain privileges. Those who complete the whole curriculum, will gain the support of the school to open a certified Muay Thai Sangha academy in their own country.

Beginners Level 1 Intensive Course
In the Beginners Level 1 Intensive Course, morning training is composed of the Krabong and Thai Double Swords Single Heaven Attacks, and both Muay Chaiya and Muay Thai basic training in the evening.
Beginners Level 2 Intensive Course
In the Beginners Level 2 Intensive Course, morning training is composed of the Krabong and Thai Double Swords Single Earth Attacks
Intermediate Level 1 Intensive Course
In the Intermediate Level 1 Course, morning training includes the Krabong and Thai Swords Double Heaven Attacks and Muay Thai Sangha Ground Fighting and Takedowns in the evening.
Intermediate Level 2 Intensive Course
In the Intermediate Level 2 Course, morning training includes the Krabong and Thai Swords Double Earth Attacks. In the evening the curriculum covers the Muay Chaiya and Muay Thai Blended Training Module.
Advanced Level 1 Intensive Course
In the Advanced Level 1 Course, morning training consist of the Advanced modules for the Double Swords Scissors and One End Krabong Striking. In the evening, the training covers Muay Chaiya / Knife Blended and the Krabong-Muay Thai Sangha Blended Modules.
Advanced Level 2 (Teacher Training)
The Advanced Level 2 or Teacher Modules (Kru) are reserved for those who wish to become teachers. Only those who complete all the Intensive Courses will be able to participate in the Teacher modules. The course emphasizes the use of timing and half beats to counter or surprise the opponent. The morning training includes the Krabong and Thai Swords Advanced Modules. The evening training focus in the 108 Muay Thai Sangha Counter Techniques . The Teacher training Courses may not be available every year.
*Please note that in our school we don’t sell certificates, and that learning the arts takes time. Our courses are based in progressive intelligent training and the skills that you will gain are completely real. Before performing spectacular techniques you must learn our principles of movement, proper footwork and an understanding of the basics. Each module progressively teaches different ways of striking, cutting and defending. At the advanced level, all the skills must be tested under pressure in sparring. When using bladed weapons protective gear will be necessary
